Most of the no-heat and no-cool calls we run in Southside Virginia could have been caught months earlier by a routine visit. The Home Protection Membership covers your heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical in one plan, so small problems get found before they turn into emergency repairs.

What's Included Every Year

Two HVAC maintenance visits. A cooling tune-up before summer and a heating tune-up before winter, covering refrigerant levels, coils, electrical components, drains, airflow, filters, safety controls, and overall system performance.
Annual whole-home plumbing inspection. We check fixtures, water lines, drains, your water heater, and the main shutoff, then walk you through anything that needs attention.
Annual electrical system check. A look at your panel, breakers, and wiring for wear, overloads, and safety issues.
$0 diagnostic fee. Members never pay a service-call diagnostic charge when something goes wrong.
5% off all repairs. The discount applies to repair work that comes out of your visits or any future service call.
Priority scheduling. When Virginia summers and cold snaps fill the schedule, members move to the front of the line.

Yes. We install and replace gas and oil furnaces, heat pumps, dual-fuel systems, central air conditioners, and ductless mini-splits for homes across Southside Virginia and northern North Carolina. As a Carrier dealer we offer a broad range of energy-efficient equipment to fit your home and your budget, with furnace AFUE ratings up to 90 percent. We size every system to the house instead of guessing, so you get even comfort and lower bills year round.

What indoor air quality services do you offer?

Virginia summers are humid and winters are dry, and both extremes are hard on the air inside your home. We install and service the iWave air purification system, which reduces odors and allergens and helps kill mold, bacteria, and viruses, along with upgraded filtration and humidity control that works with your existing HVAC. If anyone in the home deals with allergies, asthma, or constant congestion, this is where we'd start.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We provide free estimates on installation and replacement projects, including new furnaces, heat pumps, AC systems, ductless mini-splits, indoor air quality upgrades, and new construction work. For diagnostic visits on existing equipment, a service call fee may apply, and we credit it toward the cost of any repair you authorize.

Do you offer emergency heating and cooling service?

When your system goes down, we treat it like the emergency it is, because a house with no heat in January or no AC in July isn't something that can wait. Our promise is straightforward: no matter the time of day or the day of the week, call Strategic Heating & Air and we'll respond as fast as we can. Preventive Maintenance Program members get priority when the schedule is full.

Strategic Heating & Air serves homes and businesses across Southside Virginia and Central Florida. Our home bases are South Boston & Central Florida. In Virginia we regularly work throughout Halifax County, including Halifax, Clover, Scottsburg, Nathalie, and Virgilina, along with nearby communities in Mecklenburg, Charlotte, and Pittsylvania counties. In Florida we serve Clermont, Orlando, Winter Garden, Ocala, Ocoee, Tavares, and surrounding areas. If you're in the region and not sure whether we reach you, give us a call. We very likely do.

Do you serve South Boston, Danville, Clarksville, and northern North Carolina?

Yes. South Boston and the rest of Halifax County are home base, and we regularly serve Danville, Clarksville, Chase City, South Hill, Halifax, and the surrounding Southside Virginia communities, along with parts of northern North Carolina.
